Fact
Google introduced new AI features for Android 17 and emphasized Gemini integration across phones, screens, and cross-device experiences. Some features are expected to arrive first on Pixel and Samsung devices.
Analysis
AI is becoming a layer of the operating system rather than a separate destination. That changes the relationship between businesses and customers: some decisions may happen inside the phone, mediated by assistants, summaries, visual search, and voice commands.
The practical question for businesses is whether their information is organized enough for an agent to understand.
What To Prepare
Start with clear pages: pricing where appropriate, hours, FAQs, policies, contact paths, and objective product descriptions. Beautiful but vague content loses value when a customer asks an assistant for a direct answer.
Support also matters. If a company responds through WhatsApp, email, and social channels, the answers need to be consistent. A customer’s assistant can compare promises, deadlines, and terms.
Opinion
If you still think of AI as a separate browser tab, you may be looking in the wrong place. The next game is how your business appears, answers, and sells when the customer is speaking to an agent inside the device itself.
